We aim to create a space where talented and ambitious young people challenge each other to develop their full potential. That is why, with great pleasure, we invite you to be part of the delegation that will represent Universidad de Los Andes at the Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN 2027); in the month of February 2027 in the city of Boston, USA.

Our delegation has achieved excellent results while representing Universidad de Los Andes, including a Best Delegate distinction in 2020, two Best Delegate distinctions in 2024, and a Best Delegate distinction in 2025. HNMUN 2024 and 2025 were particularly successful for our team: we attained 17 academic awards and were selected as one of the winners of the Resolution Project, a Social Venture Challenge initiative. In 2026, we reached our greatest milestone yet: our delegation became the first in Colombian history to simultaneously win the Best Large International Delegation (BID) and Best Large Delegation (BLD) awards at HNMUN, with two Best Delegates distinctions and more academic awards. The challenges for the coming year are enormous, as we seek to improve upon what has been accomplished and continue developing better people and professionals.

Being part of the HNMUN team means being committed for the next ten months in order to excel in skills such as negotiation, leadership, public speaking, communication, people management, and team-building. It means committing to participating actively and working hard to achieve greatness.

The UNIANDES HNMUN delegation is a life changing experience as it inspires its members to challenge themselves in order to become their best versions.

You will not be alone in this process. During the entire year, your Faculty Advisors, Head Delegates, and fellow team members will give you feedback and coaching to ensure you get the most out of this experience.

FIRST STEP: REGISTRATION, VIDEO, AND CV

Our Application Process launches on Friday, April 10 2026 at 1:00PM. The first step ends on Friday May 8, 2026 at midnight. Submit your application below.

SECOND STEP: PRACTICAL EVALUATION

If you have completed the first step and received an e-mail from our BOD announcing that you PASSED the first stage, you are called to participate on our practical evaluation on Saturday May 16th at Universidad de Los Andes.

FINAL STEP: INTERVIEW (SPANISH)

If you have completed and PASSED our second step, you will participate in a 30 minute in-person interview with our 2026 Board of Directors in the days following the practical evaluation.
